Concord Hospital
The Minns Labor Government has not committed a single dollar in funding for Stage 2 of the Concord Hospital Redevelopment. This means no funding for a new Emergency Department, putting more pressure on our hospital and leaving patients waiting longer. New homes must be supported by infrastructure. We are not seeing any investment despite more than 30,000 new homes being committed by this Minns Labor Government.
The former NSW Liberal Government built the $341 million Stage 1 Redevelopment of Concord Hospital, named the Rusty Priest Building, but we are yet to see a commitment for Stage 2 from the government.
